Birra Moretti was founded by Luigi Moretti in 1857 Udine, Italy. Udine was a very small little town built by the local community back in 1350. The people worked hard in Udine to make it a safe and enjoyable place to live. The beer and ice factory made by Birra Moretti was their golden child as such and everyone made it possible to make high quality beer. The first premium lager beer was sold three years later in 1860 and the rest is history. It is a bottom fermented beer with a golden colour. This colouring is a result of the type of malt used in brewing. It is perfect for enjoying meals or for evenings out with friends.
