San Miguel is the Spanish beer with the most presence around the world. They were successful and in 1930 they decided to expand and find out if their beer would please people from other places. They crossed over to the United States. In 1954 they decided to return to their lands (Spain) to continue with their company and keep growing. They opened a factory in Lleida and in 1957 the Manila Agreement was signed with the president of San Miguel Corporation, thus giving birth to the company “San Miguel, Fábricas de Cerveza y Malta, S.A.”.
