Estrella Damm

Jose Maria Rivera Corral, founded Estrella Galicia after emigrating from Cuba, Mexico. Brewing started in 1910, in 1925 the first manufactured beers were purchased – production stopped in 1941 due to the spanish civil war and also World war 2. However in 1949 the third generation of the Rivera family got involved with the business and the direction it was going. The rest is history, a very successful beer company who introduced anniversary beer, gran riserva bottles, alcohol free bottles, a very well respected beer across the globe and a traditional family run business.
